Abstract

This project consists of building a radio telescope, using a small array of two 10 ft satellite dishes. The radio telescope array will be used by the Physics Department, from the University of Texas at. El Paso (UTEP), to study various levels of the 21 cm line of neutral hydrogen gas that exist in the Milky Way, this information can be used to obtain a radial velocity distribution of the observable part of the Milky Way.
