Biographical Synopsis of Interviewee
Gregorio Flores was born March 12, 1932, in Tepoztlan, Morelos, México; at an early age, he helped his father with field work; he had one year of formal education; as a young man, he worked in the construction industry; from 1959 to 1961, he worked as a bracero in Arizona, California and Texas picking cotton, melons, and other fruits and vegetables.
