Thank you for visiting my research page. I have had the honor of serving as Director of the UTEP Forensics Program for twenty-three years. My research interests include forensics pedagogy, communication education, diversity issues, and cultural studies. In 1992 I was one of 22 educators in the nation selected to serve as a Rockefeller Brothers Fund Mentor to a Minority Fellow, who was a member of my forensics team. My scholarly activity includes service as an Associate Editor of Argumentation & Advocacy, the journal of the American Forensic Association, and coordination of an AFA-funded national survey on diversity in forensics.
