Abstract
The Woman’s Department El Paso Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization founded by May McGhee in 1924. The Woman’s Department promotes El Paso and is a civic and service organization. The Woman’s Department El Paso Chamber of Commerce records date 1923-2012, bulk 1936-2000. Types of records include a thesis on the history of the organization, by-laws, officer and member lists, correspondence, ephemera, speeches, minutes, annual reports, newspaper clippings, yearbooks and other publications, photographs, slides, a map, and scrapbooks.
