Abstract
The WTHSA provided community groups and health organizations assistance through grant writing, needs assessment and program development, staff training, and data collection and analysis. The collection consists primarily of material detailing the operations of the West Texas Council of Governments and the West Texas Health Systems Agency, mostly in the form of reports and proceedings. Also included are health-related books, monographs, and journals. The collection is an important source of information on the delivery of health care in West Texas during the period 1974-1983.
