Abstract
Created by Senate Bill 183, the State School of Mines and Metallurgy (later the University of Texas at El Paso) was founded in 1913. The UTEP Athletic Department Collection dates 1929 – 2008, bulk 1930s – 1990s. Types of records include programs, media guides, and clippings. These records help document the activities of various UTEP athletes, coaches, and teams (primarily football, basketball, track, golf, and tennis).
