Biographical Synopsis of Interviewee
(Former Raza Unida Candidate) Mr. Cisneros was born in El Paso, Texas on July 23, 1949. He attended local schools, Aoy and Hart Elementary, then he went on to Bowie High School where he graduated in 1969. With the help of the Upward Bound Program and the Mexican-American Youth Association, Mr. Cisneros attended Colorado State University for one quarter semester, and then transfered to UTEP. At this university, Mr. Cisneros receibed his B.A. degree in Political Science in 1973. Mr. Cisneros ran for Justice of the Peace with La Raza Unida Party in El Paso County in 1974.
